We have a problem with tags fading after some minutes even with the Fadeout fader at minimum. We referred the issue to the good folk at Tagtool.org. On iink's suggestion, we measured the resistance values of the faders and they were okay. He reckons the screws securing the fader to the case maybe too long, sothat we "can't get the real end at both suides"; he said its happened to him before. I think he's right, that is the problem: we used a tupperware-style lunchbox for the case, and the faders are mounted on a thinner surface than the suggested plywood one; so the screws will go down further into the fader housing.
